Dodge+transmission=anger
I have always liked the dodges but didn't get one because of all the horror stories I heard about the trannies going out[:@]. Hopefully you can getit fixed without to much hassel.
Switching it to a manual will be more trouble than it's worth. If you run a cable clutch, you're going to have a real hard time with the cable, and hanging a clutch pedal just plain sucks. If you are going to go with a hydraulic clutch, it's a little easier, but the plumbing is still a pain. The only thing you would really have going for you is the fact that it's old, and you wouldn't have to change all the ECU crap.
