Broke out the $10,000 mower today and mowed about 100,000 of lawn. It was so nice out, I swear its 70 out and absolutely spectacular. Supposed to be like this all week.

I love my job, and it certainly is diversified. Take today for instance. This morning I worked on a gas furnace, then it was up to the pump house to run the fire pump, and I decided to change the belts, then it was off to walk the trail and look for any trees that needed cut off the trail. Then this afternoon I break out the mower. Its this diversity that makes everyday here at work for the last 14 years something I look forward to coming to every day. I'm also glad to even have a job, and I have never taken it for granted. My neighbor just lost his job last week, he's in his late 50's and the lumber mill just decided that they didn't need him anymore. That sucks.

 

Yeah the economy sucks Deej. But I just landed a new job and the company contacted me. I had not even thought of contacting them. And for a 150K a year job with no moving around all over the world, I think it will be great. It was a cut in pay but I'm really sick of moving, and it will pay all of my bills and vices.

 

Lap dances and hookers? Oh and Penicillin.

 

You got it buddy, but I really dont do hookers! There are too many clean willing ones out there for that!
