here comes summer!! anyone up for a ride? NEPA
ok guys.. warm weather is approaching fast. we dont have many people in this neck of the woods with dual sports. if anyone is close im always up to take a few people on a day long adventure in this area. the past 2 years i have found a lot of new and interesting areas to hit. id figure on 100 miles or so for the day.
if anyone is interested reply and well work on dates... area is 30 minutes north of Scranton, PA. FYI, if you are interested, the ride will not be on dirt roads. trails are moderate skill level mainly, with a few that are tough. (somewhat) skilled riders apply only. no offense but i want to ride, not babysit :P

im working this coming weekend.. once it warms up a bit ill be out more... under 50 is to damn cold for me.

worse part about it is my location. being up on the mountains puts us at 5-10 degrees colder right off the bat than 15 miles south in the valley.
im figuring by beginning to mid may give or take. joe and i have a 100 mile circuit pretty much figured out.. down one side of route 6 on top of Bell Mountain through the valley by the viewmont mall (really cool, miles long, hidden trail system) then up over jessup mountain over to Mt. Cobb. and back up this way. we did it a couple of weeks ago and it was a blast. lots of tight technical slow stuff to wide open fire roads with intermittent fast jumps every 100 yards or so. had WAY to much fun to stop for pics, maybe next time.
dont be shy folks, if you live close and are interested speak up.. joe and i dont bite and id love to take some people out for the day. riding by yourself gets lonely as hell. trails always seem so much fun when you have others with you enjoying them too, just watch the roost joe's DRZ throws. lol
Dave and Pete just put in they're 331 kits a couple weeks ago. They're all keyed up to go hit some trails down in the water gap. I'll let Dave know you got some trails up there and maybe we can all come up sometime. I have no idea how far you are from them so I can't speak for them but I'll certainly let them know.
