Just something to think about. Last weekend some friends & I went dirt bike rididing. My son and I were talking while going down a trail. Both of us not paying attention he hit a rut about 2' deep knocking him off his bike on to his butt (very sore & bruised).
Today we were going to take a run down the up the coast. When my riding partner (about 20 years riding) turned the 3rd corner from our house hit a torx socket in the road and droped his bike. He was wearing textile jacket & pants. Broke his shift lever, clutch lever, scraped cover,mirror, and wore down frame & swingarm sliders.
Lesson learned 1 WEAR PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
2 ALWAYS BE OBSERVENT
