Does that thing have a connector for your Power Commander? We'll want to see some Dyno charts after you get the "evil" map tweaked and loaded.

 

it has direct port injection and it really is a custom map. i dont get to burn this one but i can tweak out on the numbers. im working on a hyper pro sticker for it right now. i think it might make it faster [sm=gears.gif]

 

hey evil this is funny ive been a diabitic 26 years and i caryy my tester on me every tiime i ride iwas going to get the pump but its 6000$ canadian but i heard its covered but i have not tried yet. but alot of people here who are on it say it is great and easier to control their sugar i need on becauase my sugar at work is always at 2 because i walk 10 miles a day let me know what u think this is great another nut ball on a ninja and he is a diabetic too im definitly coming to cali if i forget my needles ill borrow yours

 

small world bro definitly try to get on it. all i did was call minimed and they pretty much did everything for me. all i had to do was show up and make dr appointments. pretty cool. my 14 day went from a 298 to a 140 in only 3 weeks. you dont feel the insertion site and its not as bad having it on as you would think. i thought hell a tube and having it on me all night would suck but after the first night i was good. my pump has gone 134 mph with me. what ever you got to do to get it, do it. in the end its worth it and the control you gain is killer. no more shots every 4 hours, eating on a schedual, you can even drink a beer or 2 without throwing your sugars into a whirlwind.

riding with the pump was my biggest concern and so far it has not posed a problem with comfort or gear issues. my icon jacket has a few pockets on the inside i can tuck the pump into and its all secured and good to go.

id say go for it, all they can say is no. if you need any info on it, let me know i did a hell of alot of research finding the right pump. i have a bunch of links and numbers you can call.

if your insurance will cover it all your golden. my insurance covered the package that was worth a hair under 10 grand. i had to pay 24 bucks for the iv prep pads. im pulling for you to get one now. ill help ya out too. go do it allready so when you come to cali we can go drink a beer (punch in 54 carbs) good to go [sm=icon_rock.gif]
