In my neighbourhood it seems like they are tearing up all the streets and leaving this horrible graded pavement... It's awful to drive on as you get very little traction...

Am I the only one who hates driving on it??

 

Actually, the traction is fairly good, it is just the bike and rider staying loose and going with the flow of excess movement generally. Relax and just sit there in control. I hate those roads as well as the grated bridges. You sway and all you can do is stay loose in the bars and ride with your legs.
