A friend of mine is having problems with their ignition lock. She can put the key in but has trouble getting it to turn. I had the same issue on my 04 636. I ended up buying a matching set ignition and gas cap. I ended up totaling the bike before I installed them. I was wondering if they would fix on her ZX7. If so then I'll have to dig around the apartment to find it and send it out.

 

Does it not turn because it it worn out or because its dried up? any lock that spends time outdoors can get weathered, I usually pour some 3in1 oil in it to get it working again.

The part numbers are different, you might have a hard time getting the 636 stuff to fit.
