Changing tire

I am looking to pull the rear tire. The problem is i don't have a stand. What could i use to keep the bike up w/ out the tire.

You could use a steel rod that will go in thru the swingarm pivot and use two jack stands. I use that method when setting up my suspension. Holds the ride up.

edit: Do not use cold rolled steel, it will just bow on ya.

I just pick up the back end and stide some jack stands under the spool spots.

That should work as well. as long as you don't have to do to much wrenching on the bike. Makes it a bit unstable

i just jack it up and put some blocks of wood underneath, if you have tie-down straps it makes it easier if you can tie the front down to something as well

Stands I use these and they are great. Easy on the wallet to.
