Hello i recently undertook a project to help my buddy out and its back firing pretty bad. Its a ninja 600 a zzr600 or zx6r not really sure. I recently replaced the stator and the starter gear fell into the pan when replacing the stator. Now with everything put back together seeming its put back together correctly. The bike wont start. Wont crank. The only thing happening is a rapid clicking and clicking sound only coming from the starter fuses. And the ignition fuse. I took the stator cover off again and tried to see if the starter was atleast moving and without the gear in this time and it spun a few times and now it wont spin at all. This is due to the battery being low so i got a new one and same thing. It spins and spins. I need help to figure out how the starter gear is suppose to go in and if theres suppose to be something holding it in place because i tried spinning the wheel and starter with the gear in and it wont budge. It just gets stuck and i have to tap it with some force to get it out. Please help really wanna ride this thing asap.
