so i was installing her flushmounts and i was doing the left side and i had that black plastic piece off that give acess to the wiring....and i was looking at the stgicker that was there and it said the displacement was 599 cc's and we have 636's....maybe they put the wrong stickr on...or maybe we have the raw flat candy blue zx6rr for 06...lol....what you guys think

 

they might have put the wrong sticker on it. or maybe she got the zx6rr model. i know there's a way to find out by the vin number but i don't know the site where to find out. But i would say they put the wrong sticker on it

 

Are you talking about the sticker next to where the vin is stamped? That should say 636C on it, if it doesn't I would call Kawasaki, and give them the vin. They can tell you for sure.

 

The zx6rr only came in green. So I would say it is the wrong sticker or they real goofed and put the wrong motor in it.

 

Did you buy it new or used? If you bought it used maybe somebody changed out the plastics.

 

Look on the motor/ cylinders; there should be a cast cc designation. It might say 636cc or ml. Also the engine serial numbers behing the headerswill say if it's a 636 or not.

 

im believing its a sticker mistake cuz me and my girls vin's are identical up until the last 5 numbers....and the engine digit is the same...oh well...it woulda been nice to think raw flat candy plasma blue zx6rr....yum....
