My friend down the block just came home with an 01 gsxr600 and claims that the suzuki is faster and all around more agressive bike than my 01 ninja zx-6r. I don't know much about bikes so please give me something so I can tell him he's wrong and shut him up.

Just to give you another comparision is a friend of mine has 01 gixxer with full yosh pipe,slicks and pc111. At the track he ran the best time of 11.38. My stock at the time bike 2003 636. I ran 10.91. With just slip-on (yosh)9k miles,old plugs,and dirty filter ran a 10.84. I'm sure a better rider could have even done better. I'm not the best when it comes to drag racing. You for sure have the upper hand no doubt. Good luck!!

 

with those 600's skill of the rider means more than anything. on the newer 600's a good rider could probally hang with some bigger bikes. A poor rider wouldn't even stand a chance against smaller bikes.
