i was looking in the ram air scoop from the front of the bike and i noticed these 2 small toob looking things sticking out on each side. what is there funcion? should i try to clean them if they are dirty on the inside? do they suck in air or does it flow around the sides

Those sound like the tubes that split off the air ram that feed the air filter on the bike. I may be wronge but i'm sure that's what they are. I guess you cold clean them if you wanted to.
