I remember when I was young, and invincible, I hated gear, or anything that had to do with my choice in safety, but now at 42, you won't catch me without as much as I can wear to keep me as safe as I can be. I remember here in Washington when there was no helmet law, and then when they changed it I grumbled a bit, and yes I know some folks on here hate being told what to do, but after seeing some bad stuff, and hearing about how if only they had a helmet on, I have not complained since. I don't think any of us kids had helmets growing up, and we did stuff that I don't even like to watch now Oh well you either get smarter with old age, or you just become a donor. In fact that's what my doctor said when I told him I bought a bike, he said "oh you mean a donorcycle?" I said come on doc don't be like that, we both smiled. Its all good.

when people dont wear gear....especially helmets....it is just natural selection in play. the squid subjecting his kid to danger should be punishableby law.

I will have to get him gloves, jacket and probably the safety belt when I give him a ride.
safety belt do they make suck a thing for a bike? if so im very interested for my son
Here's one: http://www.buddybelt.com/

Search the posts. I had posted one a while back that was specifically mad e for small children and it had a pad between the rider & passenger with a bar to hold on to. My hard drive crashed on my computer and I had all that info saved on it so I can't help you at the moment. Do a search for child safety harness or belt.

Here it is; I found it: http://www.childridingbelt.com/enghome.htm
