Hi,

I have an 04 ZX636 and noticed that it is now making a ticking sound which seems to be more noticeable on the left hand side of the bike (if I am sitting on it).

I did just remove the kleen air system and replaced the air filter with a K&N.

Is this normal?

 

my 05 636 does the same thing.... it seems to be a commen thing for kawis...

i have an '03 636 and mine does it too, more so when cold, go on a short ride and it quiets down.....guess you gotta sacerfice something for all that power. kawi's are the loudest, that i've seen..
