removing the license plate bracket?
i've been trying to remove the rear license plate bracket from a 03 zx6rr and i can't figure out how to pull it off, all the bolts that hold it on are screwed in from the inside, and i can't pull out the truck without taking off the fairing, so i assume i have to remove the fairing, but i can't figure out how it comes off. all i've found are 2 screws under the passenger seat and the 2 pins that you push into rubber gromets near the side of the front seat.
do i need to remove the undertail to get the rear fairing off? or am i missing other bolts to pull it off? or is there an easier way to remove that rear bracket?

theres probley a few screws under the tail section, and some under the rear seat and possibly gromets holding it on towards the front.
to take off the tail fairing you have to take off 6 black plastic screw looking things, sorry dont know what there called
3 on the left, 3 on the right sides of the bike. there on the bottom side of the tail. I popped mine off with a little flat screw driver be very careful not to scratch the paint. On my 2004 636 there was 2 nuts and 2 bolts holding on the lic. bracket and they are under the black trunk under the rear seat
I took fairing off
truck out
unhook brake and blinker lights
remove 2 nuts 2 bolts (Allen key needed)
lic bracket falls off
I hope this helps a bit.
