Default Removing gas tank??

Ok, so I bought the Hyperpro RSC damper for my '06 636 and received it in the mail yesterday . . . the problem is that I can't get the first half of the 'gas tank' off for the installation? The two black plastic covers below the gas tank are supposed to come off, I'm assuming, in order to get the plastic part of the 'tank' off but I can't figure out how to get those covers off. I have a service manual on CD-ROM but I can't even find it in there. The best I can figure is that there's gromets holding the plastic covers on below the gas tank (well it looks like that anyway) but they won't seem to come loose for me. Does anybody know how to get that first plastic half of the tank off and what's required to do it? Thanks a lot.

You must removed the holl tank, there is 3 bolts wich hold the tank. The first you know where is, on the top of the tank, the next 2 are on boght site of the frame, the big black bolts.

Removal of the plastic cover is not necessary and cannot be removed until the tank is removed. The 2 bolts on each side of the "V" in the frame needs to be removed.
