Default Question on a 03 636

I got a 03 636 with around 8,000 miles on it, and was looking into having it tuned. It has never had any work on it since i have owned almost 2 years, just wanted to know what you guys thought should be done to it for routinework around that many miles.
Thanks

I guess you are triing to find out what to maintain???? If you have never done it dont do it.. its going to require lots of time and detailed work.... ex....brakes..and its fluids...checked and drained ..or replaced.... oil change... and filter.. check and or replace air filter..not an easy thing to do...!!!! chain to be checked (for tight and lose spots) and lubes may need to be replaced .. spark plugs replaced... check sprockets for any wear... check battery for any corrossion.. ....this job is not easy and it is tidious... good luck... dont forget the simplist thing check your tire pressure..

A factory manual goes a long way. Besides the periodic maintenance checks, gives you tq numbers also. It can also help in removing and installing parts a little easier and/or the proper way. I know, this does not help you in your situation 03ninja636

Yes, get a manual off ebay or ?. At 8K miles you don't need plugs or a valve adjustment but check everything else: Air filter, AdjustChain slack and lube, Change oil & filter, Check brakes & all fluid levels, Tires & pressures, adjust & lube cablesetc. Look at your owners manual; it should show what & when itneeds to be checked.
