You may want to check for wires touching your exhaust also; The exhaust could have melted through the plastic & wiresunder your seat. They may be resting against the pipe, melted & shorted to ground.
Speed, if the complete check was done, I would think that would have been spotted. Hint Hint again!

You can never be too certain. I'm sure something is shorted although it is possible the ECU could be bad.You can always get a cheap used one off ebay and try it out. If you get a used ECU, get one off a ZX6RR; Part number 21175-0066. It has a higher redline cutoff and may evenhave more timing advance programmed in.

The zx6rr ecu will just replace the zx6r ecu with no problems I might have to try that. Will I have to re do my power comander map? And if so which one do I have the mapped made for zx6r or zx6rr?

Run the ZX6R MAP. You shouldn't have to remap because it's alreadyloaded in the PC111.
