A friend of mine is looking for a first bike and we came across this

never been dropped a few accessories low miles. It seems a little high to me but what would you guys think a reasonable amount would be to pay for this so i can advise my friend, he really likes it and wants to jump on it despite the price.

edit: only other thing is that when i called him and asked about the tires he said that they ad alot left on them since they were the originals, but i would think that 4300 mile tires would need to be replaced relatively soon even though he said they are good

 

as long as the tires have tread left and aren't dry rotted then they should be fine.
for a 99 with that few of miles the asking price is fare - but i'd expect you to be able to get it for more like 3500

 

3500$ i would offer. imo

 

but definately check the tires, even though tires have tread if they been sitting up along time they could b.c dry rotted and flat spotted
