I am looking hard at the power commander for my zx6r. The cheapest i can find it for is about 275 shipped. Is this a good price and is there a major difference in power? Is it really worth the money? Somebody out there that has one installed - give me your two cents please. Also i see there is a race version that says it is not street legal and a street legal one coming soon.What is the diff. between the two? Thanks.

 

Your photobucket page no longer works. But from your screen name, I'm assuming your bike is an 02. I can really offer any input for that year but for my 06 it made a extreame difference. The throttle is more responsive and there is more tork at lower RPM. I ended up getting if from Fuel Moto on ebay. The will send you the PC with a map already installed. And after messing arround with different maps, the one it came with seams to be the best. BUt all in all I highly recommend a Power Commander!!!!!!

I can notice a differance between running it stock and using the PC111 map .It has a little more punch to it . I am using the base map .I haven't had it dynoe'd but I will probably have that done at a later time .
