opinions on an exhaust
Guys,
What happens if I use the slip-on and a K&N without the PC? 98% of my time is spent under 11,000 RPMs, so I would be ok if the bike does not gain much at top ... but I do not want to harm the engine with it running to lean.
I take her to the track a couple of times a year, so will the slip-on/K&N/no-pc combo put extra strain on the bike?
On the other hand, wjat if I go back to factory filter and use the slip-on? I guess that would be ok, right? Will I still get some HP gains?
Once again, at this point I just want to get the pipe for the "music".
Tx.

The pcIII is not made to gain lots of HP just to even out your air fuel mixture I gained 2 hp when I did my custom map though. AND it will smooth out your excell very nicely.
True; the PC111 has the ability to provide the most HP for your particular setup. It optimizes the air fuel ratio. You can get a custom map and get the most Hp out of your bike the way it is right now but if you add a full exhaust, you'll have to get it remapped again if you want the Most HP.
Correct, anytime you do any performance mods you should get the PCIII remapped to make any adjustments to your air fuel that has changed. Good looking out SPEEDRACER138. Once I get my DYNO sheet scanned I will post it so you can see the change of the air fuel ratio. So you have an idea what to expect.

Has anyone heard the Hotbodies exhaust for the '06 636s. They look sick but I don't want it if it sounds like garbage. Anyone have it or heard it?

I agree.
anytime you do a mod requires fine tuning to get the most power/tq
