you might want to think to yourself do you want a new or used , used will be cheaper but it is still used and we all know how nice it is to have new, might also think do you want a 636 or a 600, that i think is just personel preference it all comes down to how much you really want to spend IE, gear and mods because i know that just exhaust is not cheap plus power commander.

just a couple of things to think about

the 600 actually outperforms the 636cc sotck for stock does it not? Please dont flame 636'ers but if they had the same mods wouldnt the 600 come out on top, i can afford new + mods (but i will dirve stock for a few months just to get a feel for the bike in stock form), and i think that might be the route i go

if you live in cali or even if you dont...i would use this as a gauge on what to pay. these guys do out the door pricing. includes taxes tag and all that stuff.

not really. read this article. i think they reworked the turning a little. much more responsive. i think it might do better up top than the 636..there has been lots of comparisons in many motorcycle magazines. all in all.. i am happy i didnt wait for the 07. i do like the 07 gauge cluster a lot better. it even comes stock with a gear indicator.

Ninjah, i actually saw an 07 zx6r on the autotrader at a good price. i called them and they said they didn't have any brand new ones left BUT they had a demo for a reduced price. i totally lucked out, they weren't even supposed to sell it til the break in was done. sucked i had like 500km (300 miles) then had to drive it back for the tune up. still WELL worth it.
