new to forum, 2 questions about maintenance
Just bought 2001 6R for $1500 from a buddy. So far I love the bike and am pumped to have gotten such a sweet deal.
Does anyone know where I can buy the repair manual? I'd like to get to know the bike mechanically so I can preform some basic maintenance operations and so I can troubleshoot if anything goes wrong on the road.
Also- what tire pressure should I be running? I figured 35+ in front and rear.
Thanks

Tire pressure for 6r is front 34 and rear 36 no need to over inflate. You can get the official shop manual from dealers or you can probably find one on ebay. Haynes and Cylmer also publish their own manuals which you can buy or order from any motorcycle shop or again probably find online.

Welcome to the forums. You can also get the manual here http://www.kawasaki.com/DefaultFrame...atalogTypeID=4

The recommended tire pressure is listed either on the swingarm sticker or the frame sticker with the manufacture date. Every bike I have owned (13 so far) was 36 in the front and 42 in the rear. That is not overinflating.
