When I first mounted mine, I had the mounting plate reversed and when measured at the uppermost mounting spot, the pegs were actually LOWER than the stock pegs! We reversed the mounting plates (You can see how mine angle up while yours go down) and got MUCH more clearance due to the plate mounting differences.

Believe or not, these are a set of Vortex knock offs that I picked up for about $230 shipped. Pretty nice stuff actually. Ran about the same as what a set of Woodcraft rearsets with just the eccentric peg mounting making them ajustable, so these have a good bit more adjustment. Also came with two different length shift rods which was nice. I have them set up for between my son and I now. These do NOT have provisions for the brake light switch, but since it is track only, I don't care about that.
Anyways, you can see how close to the reservior they come, so the line had to be cut in order to avoid kinking. You can see how I just tweeked the bracket in a bit also to get it away from the heal area. If you want a shifter side pic, I'll take one Sunday........

Thanks alot meanstrk! Was thinking about going back to SBS products after running the Vesrah stuff. Now you got me thinking on the CL pads. sheesh! Have you tried the SBS stuff lately to compare them to the CL pads?
