Default Jet-Hot coating for exhaust pipe on ZX6R

I was wanting to get my exhaust pipe on my 1999 Kawasaki ZX6R coated with Jet-Hot Ceramic coating. There are different styles and colors along with different prices. My concern is with the pipe and how hot it gets during riding. The coating I want is good for about 1400 deg. f. It is about 250.00 to ship get it coated and shipped back. If anyone has expirence with this coating let me know.

Do it. You won't be sorry. .Holds up to the heat from the motor. I recently had my Muzzy Meg done on my ZRX. Look in my photo album for a shot of it.

There's a guy I know who does Ceramic Coating for D&D here in Texas. I think it's called Performance Coatings. Who are you sending it to? I had my 03headersdone in Flat Black. It seems to make a difference.

The Jet-Hot coatings building is in Texas. I have a D&D slip on my Ninja.Does Performance Coating have a website. Do they offer the same type of coatings and quality. How is the coating holding up to the exhaust temp. Do you know if the slip on can be coated as well.

Texas, Yes; Website (not sure); Quality, YES; Holds up great; Slip-On,YES. He coats intakes, exhausts, pistons and other items as long as it isn't Wheels or Swingarms. Those he powdercoats.

His name is Mike and the phone # is: 817-274-1947. Tell him Adam referred you.

Thanks speedracer, I found the website and asked for an estimate on coating my whole exhaust. Once I get it back, I will call Mike and see what they can do. If I do get it coated I will post photos (before and after). The coating cuts the heat on the exhaust, supposed to make more hp, but if anything it will look cool and be a little different.

Go for it! Anything that keeps radiant heat away from the combustion chamber will help release untapped HP. There is a guy here who dose ceramic coating, and when I get (can afford) full exhaust I'm gonna get it done.
