Well try the basics. Progressive, Geico, Nationwide, Dairyland. You also might check with whoever you have your car insurance with. They might give you a break.

The price has a lot to do with a few things. Is this your first bike? If it is, and being 22, it could cost a bunch. Where you live
may make a difference too. Florida sucks for it. I'm paying about $1500 a year for full coverage with a $500 deductible on an '01 and '05 ZRX 1200. It actually went down and I had a wreck last year. I think it went down some because the '01 is over 5 year old now.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

Yeah, FL is absolutley horrible! The quote I got from progressive for my bike insurance was more than my car. Needless to say, I decided not to pay $1600 a year for a $2400 bike.

my first insurance quote from progressive was $9300 a year. LOL...
not sure what that was all about. i think i may have typed something in wrong for the quote.
i ended up going with full coverage from State Farm for $243 every 6 months. and to top it all off. State Farm just sent me a refund check for $36. They said when the company does good they share the profit with the customers. go figure. they sucked for my car insurance though so i didnt go with them for that.

State Farm was the best for me as well. If you don't have your car with them they will give you a big break on your bike to roll.

Some smaller companies give great deals on bikes. Try dairyland. I was paying 143 a year on my old honda when I was 19. I'm 20 now and have an 01 ZX6R and am still only paying 223 with progressive (liabillity only). Maybe its a vermont thing....?
