I am a new rider and have just purchased my first bike. I bought a Ninja 650R and now am looking for optional insurance providers in Canada, specifically B.C. Are there any Canadians out there with suggestion?

Hey! Welcome to the forums fellow Canuck!! I'm not sure about BC, here in NB there aren't too many options for bike insurance. For a new rider in NB you are classified as higher risk and they insure you with the Facility Association for the first three years. I just went with PLPD on mine, but then again I have a 12 year old bike.

I have a cousin in BC, and I think he said it is pretty much the same out there. Best piece of advice I can give ya, is just call around. Good luck and I hope you can find a place thats not gonna rip you off.
