fi light keeps comming on
i had an aftermarket leo vince that i had installed and i have the fi fix on but for some reason the light kept comming on, the servo under the seat was getting stuck open and would trip the fi light.
so i threw my stock exhaust back on with the butterfly valve and it fixed the problem, but since today was a nice day i break the bike out for a ride adn now under heavy acceleration it trips that light and then it turns off once i level out the rpm.
it feels like i hit a brick wall when that light comes on, serious power loss.
so i take it to the stealership today and they tell me that they have to call kawi to find out what is happening, of corse im out of warentee lol but we will see.
does anyone have an extra servo i can buy? if that turns out to be the prob

There is a fix by Ivans Performance but it cost $110! You can get a servo with the FI cam/ stopon ebay for around $50. I'd like to find he bypass fix myself. Maybe I'll tear into a servo. Also, ask intense_05_636. He had a similar problem and they told him to disconnect the battery &clear fault & resetthe servo by doing so.
yeah i know the servo bypass you guys are talking about, 110 bucks isnt my taste though when i can get a stock servo and mod it for under 20.
PROBLEM FIXED!!!
god i feel like a dip shizi, the plug to the servo came alittle undone from the vibrations but wasnt all the way undone, that is why it kept flashing on and then off
idiot lol, i should have known in mechanics, if the problem isnt blatently obvious then it WILL be the most simple thing you can find!!! hasnt failed me yet lol
