My 250Ex keeps stalling, I have to keep the choke up high in order to keep her running, stalls also when downshifting. Any suggestions on what it could be?

Just got home from a ride and had the bike on kickstand, (taking off gear) my 2 dogs come barrelling into the garage and smack down goes the bike. A little gas spilled out (full tank) no other damage.

Now I know to make sure the dogs stay out of the garage UGH!!!!

 

was it running poorly before the dogs pushed it over?

 

Yes it was running fine before the dog incident. It only had 4 miles on it. Brand new just sitting in garage.

 

Have you tried again to restart her? if so How long ago?

 

Yeah we have, the day it happened, we have had it out a few time just down to the parking lot and keeps stalling out. The choke on slightly in order to keep it running. When u shut the choke off it stalls.

 

If it were an older bike I would say pilot jets need cleaning but yours is so new.

Take it back to the dealer and say wtf, do not tell them about the dogs though. Warranty! use it.

 

I called them and the earliest they can get me in is next Tuesday possibly. I figured I would see what you guys had to say and see if I could resolve the problem my self.

 

Being so new I would make the appointment. Sorry not to be of much help.

 

I have the appointment, going to drop it off on Saturday since they are closed on Monday and my work schedule won't allow me to drop it off on Tuesday.
