Thats a analog tach right? If so, why would you want to put a digital tach on there? Analog tach's kick butt!!!

I looked at the wire diagrams and it may work. Only problem I see is that the voltage to the 02 guages are higher for the instrument backlights (12 volt) The LED on the 03-06's are like 3-5 volts. You can only try and see if it will work. The same wire colors go to the same sensors on both bikes. You will probably have to relocate / repin some wires. Even the connector looks the same.

IMHO i HATED that guage cluster, looked cool, but was not economical. i like my zx14's analog tach much better than that **** you cant read.

I think this would be a great idea. If you get this to work you should make a write up on how to do it. I think I got used to the SV650 digital speedometer too much.

I have to tear into my guages again because one of my blue LED backlights has a bad connection. Has anyone tried an 05-06 guage in an 03-04? The 05-06's have the temp and trip meters swapped and also have a "fuel" message when the reserve light is on. The low fuel light is so hard to see/ notice. I have to duck down to see it.
