does anyone know how difficult it would be to get the 636 gauge to work on my 2002 zx6r

You would have to figure out which signal wires go to which instrument/ sensor for both bikes. It may work.

 

i want to try it , i mean i can make a plate to mount everything onto and make it look nice i just do not know what the lay out of the pins are , and if the plugs even match

 

You'll have to either buy a 03 guage or compare with one, maybe a friends bike, to see if the connectors are similsr and the number of wires are the same. Is you guage fully electronic or is there a cable for the speedo?

 

i do not see a cable for the speedo, just a plug that goes to the back of the set...i am going to look for a schematic in my manuel right now though

 

If you can figure out the wiring/ sensor relation, it could be made to work.

 

well i found my wiring diagram, does your 636 have the digi speedo? if it does can you check to see if you can find your wiring diagram

ok great if you want i can tell you the layout i have for my bike from the manual.. yeah i think this would be a great mod if it can be done
