Default Brake Light Problem

So I installed a clear alternatives integrated tailight on my 05 636 got everything working great with the exception the front brake lever does not activate the light anymore. The rear works just fine so I plugged the stock light back in and still nothing from the front. I got a multimeter on it and found that the center pin on the connector is the power that activates the brake light with the foot brake. I have like 7v with just the running lamp on and 12v when I activate the foot brake. Here is the weird part when I pull the front brake it also shows it going to 12v like it is activating the brake light but it still doesnt come on when the light is plugged in. So any ideas?

Check the front brake switch at the lever pivot. Make sure it's plugged in and the little pin isn't broken off.

That was my first thought that the switch on the lever was broken but like I said pulling the lever makes the voltage jump from 7v (running lights) to 12v (like the brake light is on) just the same way the foot brake reads on the meter so Im pretty sure the front switch is ok or I wouldnt get the change in voltage. The only thing I can think is the the ground for the front switch was tied into one of the rear turn signals and when I cut those wires and spliced the wires into the power side only for the integrated turn leds for the brake/turn signal I lost a ground to activate it. Is it possible the foot brake and front lever use 2 different grounds going into the brake light? I saw that its a 3 wire setup and I know one is power one is ground so what is the third wire? Possibly separate grounds for each switch?

Any chance someone has a wire diagram for the brake lighting system? Im a avionics tech on military aircraft so know my way around a wiring schematic.

Default brake light problem

You still having problems with your light. I actually have a complete manual for the 636 that I down loaded. It is a big file but I think I still remember where I got it from if you are interested.
