Jumper mod
I got the new SSB mag and it shows how to do the jumper mod on the 07zx6r and gained 6.4hp.. my question is will it effect anything else like fuel/air ratio or anything and has anyone done it?

RE: Jumper mod
From what I know about the 05-06's, the ECU fully opens the Exhaust valve and feeds more fuel with the Jumper Mod but keeps the stock air/ fuel mapping at 13K and above.

RE: Jumper mod
I don't see why it would. The restriction was for EPA sound levels and they wouldn't know if you did it or not. When you take it in, just remove the jumper.

RE: Jumper mod
What mag is SSB? From what I've seen it's not good for much. http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/Articl...439&Page=1

SSB is Super Street Bike.. and mines a 2007 and there building one for the monster mile and that was the 1st thing they did to the bike and on the dyno made 6.4 hp more and got an extra .8 tenths at the drag strip and 12 mph on the top end.... so i think i'll try it
