Bike doesn't start..Long sitting time.

Alright fellas! Thank you so much for the input! I ended up replacing the battery and it turned right on. Now its time to take her in to adjust those valves!

telling you bro a battery tender adds so much life on to a battery it will be the last one you buy for many years! congrats on the runner now show us sum ride pics!!lol

I agree with Prom about the batteries. Don't get sucked in to paying any more than you have to for a new battery. The battery tender that was mentioned above is basically a mini charger for small batteries. It trickle charges the battery when the bike is sitting, to ensure you always have maximum power. In Canada they cost about $40 bucks. They are definitely worth having, especially if the bike sits for an extended period of time. Hopefully you just need a new battery. If the new battery doesn't work, I would suggest doing a tune up, (at least get some new plugs), and if you still have problems, take it to the dealer, and get it checked out. It sounds to me like a battery problem, but you never know. Good luck and let us know what it was.

Good news about your bike! I bet you felt pretty good when you heard her start-up again! Don't forget to buy a battery tender so that this never happens to you again! Ride on brother!
