Welcome back, and when did your kid get taller than you. It seems that every generation is taller than the one before. Oh and of course smarter right? [8D] What kind of knee surgery did you have? My wife had a torn meniscus and had surgery about 5 months ago, she's doing great now.

 

torn meniscus isn't bad, it hurts like no other until it's fixed tho!! make sure she takes it easy a little while longer tho cuz i figured out after having mine done, you can mess it up again rather easily

 

Oh I forgot, nice DR 650 Ron, very nice. Do you have a set of off road wheels and tires for that bad boy?

So far as my knee goes, I got tagged from the rear while riding dirt last August and severely dislocated my left knee. They came close to amputating, but were able to save it. I am about 4 months into recovering from the surgery where they replaced all the ligaments in the knee. Nothing could be repaired since it was all shredded, so they have to replace everything. I'll never be 100% again, but I am hoping to get close. The biggest issue I have right now is that I just can't bent it enough to get the ball of my left foot up on the peg and can't hang off well on the left side. Hoping to get most of that back, but if not, teh Doc said he could surgicaly manipulate it to get more bend back.

There is a chance I might be moving to Greenville NC by this summer. It doesn't look like you are to far away maybe we could hook up for a ride sometime. (once I get out there) Sorry about the surgery, however it sounds like you were pretty lucky so hang in there and get better soon.
