Sorry been gone for awhile
Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Been real busy with work, flooding/tornados early in the year and working on my mustang in my spare time. Trying to get ready for next year's racing season. We had 3 cars at the Pinks All Out in St. Louis this year and we want to get 4 or 5 next year. The show airs Sept. 11 actually. My brother in laws car made the final 32 cut. They normally only choose 16 but the went to 32 and made 2 groups, one a 10.30 class and the other was our class the 9.70s class. They finally choose the 10.30 class because apparently we ran a 10.50 over the course of the weekend when we got good traction once. Anyhow it was a blast and we plan on going again.
The 88 750r has been doing great this summer. Need to get a new exhaust because the packing in the muzzy is about gone and it's extremely loud and the canaster is rusting slightly. Hopefully I can just repack it to get me by for the summer. Need to call Muzzy tomorrow and get a kit coming.
How has everyone else's summer been?

congrats on the car runs. I thought the '88 750 Ninja was a great off of the line ride to own? Of course you can lower it or anything. I prefer the suspension to be set up for the corners though. So I have not studied that drag domain much.

750 launches awesome, but I would love the look of a lower bike. I just can't seem to find any info on how to lower it. I'm taking the bike completely apart this winter for a good cleaning, powdercoating, polishing, etc. Thought it'd be a good time to lower it.
Almost forgot. Any suggestion on a way to decrease the throttle twist? Seems to take a lot of twist to get to full throttle. Would like something that gets there faster (keep in mind....new to sportbikes= lots of questions LOL)
