If you go with nylon or billet bar end it will not increase any vibration.

I put weighted bar ends to decrease vibration that came about form changing sprockets. The sprocket change added a very high pitched almost like buzzing into my hands and the weighted bar ends reduced it by abut 75%.

I use Motrax DHB bar end sliders http://www.motrax.co.uk/Index_pages/accessories/dhb.htm , I purchased them from a local bike store (Cycle Gear). I have not noticed any vibrations at any rpm after installation. I even tested them out in a high speed low side and they do grind down well. [:'(]

I had weighted bar ends on my 02 ZX6R and changed them to Vortex Nylon ones and noticed zero difference in vibration. I wouldn't worry about it.

You put on weighted ones to eliminate vibration not to cause it. I have weighted throttle meister bar ends to eliminate vibration that I got when I changed my sprockets
