I'D +1 too all that but that would be redic so I'll just agree. And as a '05 zzr owner I have to incourage the '00 zx6r since they're the same bike and I heart mine. And if the bike is in as good of condition as it seems that's a good deal. and to go along w/ 750r do your home work and even go to you local dealer and site on a couple bikes if they don't mind (just pretend to be interested) and see what feels gooooooooood. and you'll know when the "right one comes along." Sorry I'm getting all emotional thinking about when I found mine... And man don't you people sleep, you're animals with these late night posts. I'm at work what's your excuse?

i'm just saying older man cuz it's just my opinion. if you want newer or whatever then go for it it's your ride. i just suggest older or cheaper for shear cost and the fact i almost cried the first time i went over on my bike. didn't hurt the bike but left me with a decent scar both physically and a little mentally. i got a smokin deal on mine i couldn't pass up so i got it after 4yrs of looking, if you find the one u love and can afford GO FOR IT.


just ride safe man and spend some cash on good gear remember!!! that is VERY important

 

well looks like i wont be getting anything for a while. the bank denied me a loan of 3500. they said i need more credit built up. so hopefully i will get this new job and be able to pick one up cash later in the summer

 

That's a bummer. Bike loans are harder to get than car loans sometimes. You'll fall into something that's how great deals happen.

 

2 years min of credit history for any loan... Sucks, but your in the same boat pretty much all of us started at. Work 2 jobs and save and you'll get your dream bike (considering the first bike no matter what it is will be your dream bike I know mine was)

You got your gear yet? Don't forget about that when trying to figure out how much cash you need. It adds up quick =\ .. Goes without saying it's very worth it though, many of us on here are only here because our gear has saved our lives. I know mine has.

how much do you weigh, and how tall are you? plus, do you plan on doing mods to the bike?

 

thank ya much for the support guys. i am about 6 foot and 230 pounds. so im not a little guy. wasnt planning any major mods for the bike.

im hopeing to work all summer and hopefully this winter when no one is buying being able to pick up an 08 kinda cheap.If i dont have enough for that then probobly just keep looking on criagslist for some deals
