air filter replacement

Default air filter replacement

hey guys just got my k&n and pc3 and just sent my header to get ceramic coated i was wondering how hard it was to change the air filter i couldnt find a how to...but i was just going to throw the air filter in and go get a dyno run in b4 i go get my pc3 & custom map when i get my header in...

It is in the owners manual. Just undo the tank bolts and lift the tank up to get to the airfilter.

hey so i saw sum guys on here saying that i will need to tune it if i put the k&n in..i already have a slip-on

Could cause air/fuel to be off. I would replace it if you want to get an accurate dyno.

pretty much its going to be off regardless so if i put it on 2day it wont matter.... and i plan on gettting my custom map next week when my header to comes in...so thats when i will put the pc3 and header on then get my mapp

do it all in one shot. Having the air filter in for a week or so isnt going to hurt you. It couldnt possibly be off enough to cause ANY damage whatever in a week. Go for it, save yoruself some money and put it in yourself. you should see a noticable difference in performance too.

yeah i ended up putting the k&n in 2nite..thanks im just waiting for the header and ill go get it tuned...
