+1 and your wallet too. If it runs good and doesn't leak fluids, take care of it.You can learn a lot about it by just workin on it & fixing it up. Get a service manual.

 

i never planned on not taking care if it, i was interested in hearing what you guys thought i should do with it: paint, mods, etc.... or if this model is better off just keeping stock. does anyone else have this model, is there anything special i should know about it or things i should keep my eye on?

You can always fix it, clean it up & sell it for a newerbody styleZX6R. There are a lot more aftermarket parts available for them.Your bike is an excellent sport tourer. Comfortable and lots of wind protection. A lot of low-end torque too.

i was thinking about selling it. it has a salvage title and 28k on itso i dont' think its worth much.

 

Then just keep it, ride and enjoy.
