86 ninja 6 wiring problem

Default 86 ninja 6 wiring problem

hey guys there is a connector on my bike that was all taped up and i un taped it to move it behind the frame because the guy i bought the bike from had it on the outside. he doesnt know what wires go where. the male connecter was destroyed and somone had just pushed the wires in i have a picture of what it is. since they came unpluged my nuetral and kickstand light dont work anymore. anyone have any ideas of what to do?

Yep, that goes to your neutral light switch. There is a connector on the bike that isn't used and is taped up near the battery. The other wire/ connector in the pic is for the sidestand switch.

ok so does it matter what wires go where? because the whole connector is gone it was just the 4 bare wires. i know where the green one goes becuase i can see on the female part taht its green.

Sorry I havent gotten back to you; been working double shifts. I will look it up and let you know unless someone does it before I can. I have a factory manual at home and will try and remember to do it tonight.

The3 wires went to your alternator and should be yellow, and connect to 3 black wires from the alternator. The light green goes to the neutral switch. There should be a red/blue wre near there for the oil pressure switch.
