Default 2009 ZX-6R kickstand for everyday use?

I was seriously tempted by the Ninja ZX-6R sitting next to the Suzuki SV650SF I went to look at. What caught my attention as a negative was the kickstand. The pad on the end of the stem was small and did not extend very far out from the motorcycle bodywork.

My KLX-250S will "dig" into asphalt when I park it on a hot day here in Arizona. When it falls over due to the asphalt giving way, it really isn't a big deal since I single track this motorcycle and it has some scuffs already. I'm concerned that kickstand on the Ninja won't keep the Ninja upright and that it will be sensitive to any minor slopes in the parking area. If the Ninja falls over, I'm thinking it will crack the fairing and cost me serious money.

If a person was willing to add some grams to the "wet" weight of the Ninja, are better kickstands available? Or, am I worrying about something that really isn't a problem.

TIA,
Sid

p.s. I would add frame sliders to help ease the pain if/when I drop it.

Not really sure on the 09 6r stand yet, but I do know that most of the zx stands are too tall and the wind will flip them in the parking lot. So the fulcrum is normally modified to stand out more. The pad is not normally of much concern since using a crushed can, or placing the kickstand on a paint stripe normally prevents any sinking.
Here is a pic of my sidestand from sundays ride and why the side stands are tucked up. A cornering clearance aide.

i know on the '07's and '08's the kickstands are too long which does make the bike sit too straight and i was always afraid of a tip over. i tried the one off of my '98 and it worked great. more lean angle and the newer one fit the older bike just fine as well. win win.

the 09s are much better about that than the 07-08.
