Here's something you don't get to do everyday!
So it was a typical day here in Forks, car loads of 14 year old girls circling my neighborhood looking for Edward the Vampire. There was of course rain like it does most days, and the occasional dog barking in the distance. I was home for lunch, eating chicken and playing COD 4 on the 360, when I suddenly realized I was late getting back to work, so I sat there and played till the level finished, took out "Jerry" and shut off the system.
I walked by the garage to get into the Dodge truck (2 payments left!!! YIPPIE!) and heard a buzzing, kind of like a huge Bumble Bee...only bigger. I opened the door and saw this little guy trying to tap his way through the window. I got on the ladder and above him, and he actually let me pick him up and before I released him back into the wild, I thought to myself..."wait a minute,...you have a camera on your Blackberry now...you must use it for good and not just evil."
I told him that it was going to be ok and that the flash of light didn't mean the end. I don't think he believed me, but then again he didn't say anything even though I gave him an opportunity to express any concerns at this point. I think he will be back, that is if my wife ever gets the empty red feeder filled up. Good by my little friend....until we meet again.
Does this bird make my hand look fat?
