Have you ridden an 06 636 for any length of time before you got the 07? If you have then you know what I mean about the low to mid range power. You're right about the looks; it is a great looking bike andhandles better than the 06 ZX6R/RR's & the ZX10's but IMO, the 636 is a better all around streetbike. I just wish Kawasaki comes out with a 750 or 800 in 08.

 

i am not disagreeing about the lack of power down low. this thing is a goat untill it hits 8k lol...

I have read all the reports on the 6r's for 07 also. I have not ridden one yet. Yes, in the reviews, it gotpicked overby the honda. No biggey.

The 636 is a great street ride, heck the 10r is a great street ride. (that was for you speed). The added tq of the extra 36cc's along with the looks and handling made it a top choice for the streets. Although if used on the track, you would face the 750's.

 

no the best looking bike is the MV Agusta F4 312 andthen the KTM SuperDuke then the KTM RC8

 

see thats whats great about england you can go to a dealership and actualy ride the bike before you buy it not like in the states where you have a sit test. o that feels nice lol,then you go out and ride it after you bought it and your like man this is crap. i have riden it and the 07 isa dog on the streets its just like the r6 when it came out. the rev limiter on the 07 is very very very very soft its set at 15000 believe me we dynoed one at are shop. you like oooo i have 2500 more to go then rev limiter, wtf. oh well i dont know anything though

Yeah the ZX10R is in a league of it's own. Although I was seriously considering getting one, I think that I would get into too much trouble with a ZX10R.A 750 or 800would be an idealsportbike and the best of both worlds. If Kawasaki doesn't come out with a 750 or 800 in 08, I may have to put thatBig Bore kit in mine orbuy a GSXR750 [:@]. I wonder if a Z750 motor will fit my bike. KAWASAKI, Are you listening/ reading this?

 

I really like the looks for of the new ZX-6r's. IMO i think the 05-06 is the best looking ZX-6 that has been made so far. I love the extra power of the 636 in the mid range. I do most of my riding around 5-9k and it feels like its got a ton of power when ever i want it.
