Hello everyone.

I turn the bike on, and the lights and module works. Then I push to start the bike and it wont turn on, then all the lights turn off and wont turn back on. Tried trickle charging- didn't work.

I think its the battery (6 years old now).

Any other suggestions?

There is a good chance like you mentioned that the battery is too old. You can verify this with your hand held meter with an extra set of hands. What module works when you first try to start the ride? The fuel pump?

 

Could the OP connect up some jumper cables to a car or truck battery and give jump starting a try? Be sure the jumping vehicle is not running. You don't want the charging system sending too much into the motorcycle's system.

 

that is true IDRIDR, I am still curious on the "module" though.
