hey guys/girls i have a 2007 ninja zx6r and it wont turn over... it makes the normal sound of it starting but wont turn over... all i did was try to hook up strobe lights... i discouncted my termanals to see if the strobes worked and they did so i reconnected them and wiried the to the licenses plate light wiers... went to go start my bike tonite after the light and it will just make started noise and wont turn over... also i put it in neutral and it comes up but then click it to first and it says its in 6th gear and it wont let me click down or up! let me no if anyone nos whats up!! thanks[:@][:@]

 

im a little confused, when you say Turning over, do you mean not starting? turning over is term used loosely as a slang for cranking, so is the bike Cranking but not starting or just not cranking.

 

im pretty sure thats a GPS then if the bikes in first and the ECM reads its in top gear

 

its cranking but wont start... but i also ran into a nother problum... where is the ecu located on my bike do u no?

 

I'm willing to bet the electrical circuits do not like that strobe pulse. I'd get rid of them before you do other damage.

What terminals? The battery terminals?


Since the 07's have a digital gear indicator, you may have overloaded the circuit with the strobes.
