03 zx6rr suspension
i've been looking around and can't find anything about how adjusting your swingarm pivot point affects handling, anybody have links to good articles or can give a good explaination?
also, is there any good places or recomendations on brands etc on buying shims to raise the rear suspension? thanks!

start here. There are instructions in your manual for adjusting rear shock and a tool in your tool kit that came with the bike.

check down a few post for a member named speedracer138 I think he has one. The thread is called installing the daul head light mod.

i have the sag set front and rear i've set my compression and rebound also, i've been doing club racing with an "old"cbr f4...so i don't know what the deal is with these new bikes and the adj swing arm pivot...and how it affects the geometry?
the rear shims are because i want to go with a 70 series front instead of the 65 for a slightly larger footprint at max lean but mostly for race tire selection and i don't want to pull the forks up to compensate, and the rear shim should do the trick while also giving me a little more ground clearance without having to shell out for the ohlins with the adj ride height
and my tool kit didn't come with a spanner wrench, did the previous owner just loose it or does kawasaki expect you just to use a punch and hammer?

Yeah, thats about right. Kawasaki expects you to use a punch & hammer of buy an expensive spanner wrench. I will also post a "DIY" on a rear suspension measuring tool/ device because I found it to difficult to do it accurately just holding the bike up, even with help from a friend. I will do a post with pics after I get back from Vancouver, B.C. next week.
