Default Stock Suspension Adjustment in 2006 ZX6RR

Hey guys,

I just started riding my ZX-6RR and noticed immediately the suspension was very stiff. Was hoping for a link or some advice as to how to adjust this and soften it up just a bit. Any help would be appreciated!

They're a lot of Good Members Here and they will do there Best to Help You out with Your Questions. Sometimes It Takes A Little Longer Then Others. So, hang-in there.

Welcome to KF Kourtneyhk

GP suspension is in your area. Heard a couple good things about them.
Penske has a good site for suspension as well as Traxxion dynamics, Race Tech, Dave moor, take a pick.
Make sure to have your sag set properly for you and your gear. If you hit up any OMRRA track time we may have to hook up in the pits,

I'm assuming that minor adjustments are able to be done by themselves? I was just hoping for a link or some kind of hint as to where I should look for a little reading or instructions on the subject If I can't find anything I'll be taking it into a shop, thats for sure, but I've been able to do minor things like this on my old bike, but this is a very different machine! I just don't want to screw anything up

Thanks again! I'll definitely be checking into those places!

hit up the sites for their discussions. Seen them on you tube as well on how to set sag, read tires,,,, but yes, the actual dvds are better, but something to start with and the site cannot just give you copyrighted material either. Good luck. We do have some members in here that may be able to assist further on the suspension tuning.
