what that says is that in your age bracket they end up shelling out a lot of money every time one wrecks.

I just keep liability and theft on my 14. It would be cheaper to repair damage myself than to pay the high rates for full coverage. That is the cheapest way to go. I think it is only about 150.00 a year.

out of curiousity did any of you guys purchase your 14 on a kawi card? thats how i payed for my 650 and z1k and dont have to pay insurance. i was lookin at maybe a 14 towards the end of next year. however i need sr22 insurance because of too many tickets then a suspended license just from my car. no tickets on the bikes yet. when i had to get sr22 itried through the same plan as my dad and was estimated for 3600 - 5300A MONTHbecauseto get the multiple car discount,I needed full coverage.I ended up goin to unitrin insurance on my license insured with liability so I could drive anything. Ended up being 160 a month. id be afraid to get a 14 if i need insurance

 

Wow! 15,000.? I feel for you. I just found out I'm at 500. yr. (Old fart) 46 yrs. good record. My other bikes a S.E. Fatboy. I fully expected to pay big $ for insurance. Progressive did me good. Sometimes growing old has its advantages.[:@]
