Default RE: sprocket?

if i just cruise around town i usually get about 125 before light comes on. If i ride hard and wheelie around playing, it is pretty bad. But now, i got my leo vince exhaust on and just finished putting Gipro on and run the TRE on the hard setting. I will find out this week how my mileage is now

I've been looking around at this as well. The factory settings for the 07 10R is not well suited for my riding style due to its excessively tall gears. I just purchased a vortex front sprocket (-1) and will probably get it put on sometime in the next few weeks, weather permitting. Can't wait to have a lil bit more of that power down low.

I still say go up +2 on the rear to keep the front down and yet get used to the new power to the ground.

I thought about doing that to begin with to get things started, however, after crunching the numbers the -1 on the front isn't really that much lower of a gearing than +2 on the rear. Factory settings are at 40/17=2.35. A -1 front yields a 2.5 and +2 rear yeilds 2.47. Basically it all came down to the fact that it was a lil cheaper to mod the front and I'm really more about the acceleration than zipping 170+ down the highway which I never plan on doing.
